You may decide to follow a Yoodee Creator. Any recommendations they write will be clearly marked to show they may have received an incentive from the business.

Businesses will be informed when they have any private feedback, and they will have the option to reply privately to you, and we will always encourage them to do so.

Our business data has been obtained from multiple sources and verified to the best of our ability. If you can’t find a particular business, please let us know and we will add it in (subject to our normal checks).

Yoodee Creators are our paid partners, who share the same love and passion for their local businesses as we do. They’re people who want to support the best businesses in their neighbourhoods and share the love among their trusted networks – friends, locals or people visiting from out of town.

Yoodee Creators are paid for their articles, but we will never pay them to write recommendations or private feedback.

Local Champions are frequent posters on Yoodee, telling our community about the places and businesses they love in their area, but they aren’t paid by us. And when a business does a good job, they often want to give them a big shout-out, to show support.

Yoodee is short for ‘you decide’. The power is in your hands; you decide whose recommendations you trust, you decide what’s best - and you decide who to share it with.

People have completely lost trust in publicly shared reviews. It’s too easy to misinterpret them and they are often unfair on the businesses reviewed. Comments could well have been made in a moment of extreme emotion – just because a person had a less-than-ideal experience, it doesn’t necessarily mean that others will.

Yoodee believes it’s best to share recommendations with people you know and trust. That way, they have substance, are relevant and instil confidence. And, if you’re unhappy with a service, experience or product, Yoodee lets you feed back directly to the business that provided it, so they can up their game.
